How to stop the noise level of your Keurig Coffee Maker

by Paige
(Massachusetts)

My Keurig Coffe Maker is one of the best gifts my kids have ever given me. I love how easy and fast it is to make a good cup of coffee in the morning.

However...the downside for me is the noise it makes. It's LOUD! Did I say it's loud? I tried everything - a foam pad, a thicker foam pad, a wooden cutting board, etc., etc. Nothing worked.

But, I have good news folks - I found the solution. I took the little feet off the bottom of the pot and replaced them with 1/2" vinyl bumpers which I bought at Ace Hardware. I doubled the bumpers (one on top of another)as I wanted to make sure it was high enough off of the countertop. I used 14 bumpers in 7 different places - I then did a test run. Lo and behold it was at least 50% quieter.

I am verrry happy and so is my husband (and probably our downstairs neighbor).
